Robotics Alley Announces New Dates
Since it was founded in 2011, Robotics Alley has rapidly evolved and grown as the field of robotics has continued to expand into new areas of our lives. This year, new opportunities for the long-term expansion of the conference have led to a change in the dates of the sixth annual event.
The new dates for the Robotics Alley Conference & Expo are Feb. 28-March 1, 2017.
We are very excited about the opportunities this change presents. In addition, we strongly believe it is in the best interest of both the conference, our attendees and our exhibitors.
The decision was made in view of several factors, including:
- Many exhibitors informed us that the proximity of the original dates to shows including Pack Expo and FabTech made November too crowded and forced them to make difficult choices about where to exhibit.
- We were recently presented with the opportunity to partner with a large technology trade association to help promote and grow the event, but the original dates presented a conflict for that organization.
- We have been approached with a proposal to add an exciting new legislative forum to the event, and the additional lead time makes it possible to implement that proposal.
- Companies have informed us that the new dates make the event better timed for recruiting.
The hotel (The Depot Minneapolis) has been able to accommodate the change, so the venue for the event remains the same.
