Minnesota Ranks 7th in State Technology
& Science Index
One of the goals of the annual Robotics Alley Conference & Expo is to highlight innovative Midwestern companies that sometimes don't get the national exposure they deserve. As we head toward our sixth event on Feb. 28 - March 1, we are pleased to say that Minnesota, which has hosted the conference since it began in 2011, has moved up five spots to 7th in the Milken Institute's State Technology & Science Index.
The index looks at factors including investment in human capital, research and development, tech concentration, and tech and science workforce. The goal is to evaluate states on their science and technology capabilities and broader commercialization ecosystems that contribute to company growth, high-value-added job creation, and overall economic growth.
