The 2017 Robotics Alley Conference & Expo is hosting a new event this year, the Virtual Policy Forum, which consist of a Virtual Forum and a live panel of legislators onsite at the 2017 conference. The panel of legislators is being moderated by Margaret Anderson Kelliher and produced by public policy and affairs firm Apparatus. Confirmed speakers include Rep. Tony Albright and Rep. Paul Thissen. |
Registration for the event is required, but all legislators are invited to attend free of charge, using code MNLEG17 when they register for the Virtual Policy Forum at roboticsalley.org.
The Legislators Panel will take place from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at The Depot Minneapolis. Following the Forum, attendees are invited to stay for a showcase of robots from STEM students, a keynote on "Creating a Community of Disruptors" from Elwin Loomis of Target, an "Invest in Innovation" startup competition, a "March of the Robots" parade, and finally a networking reception from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
