Martin Buehler is Executive Director of Research and Development at Walt Disney Imagineering, where he leads the development of robotics and artificial intelligence for “the happiest place on Earth.” In this role, he is able to use his passion for translating new technologies into transformative new systems, capabilities and experiences that improve people’s lives. After an academic career in robotics at McGill University from 1991 to 2003, he has worked on robotics in industry at several innovative companies, advancing consumer, defense, surgical, logistics and entertainment robotics.
